MTG Hair Update

Just wanted to update y'all on my hair. Well things are going good. New growth is out of control! I have not been using it every other day like I intended to. Been using it like 2 days a week. Trying to get use to the smell but its going to be a while. The smell seems more potent for some reason. I love the the texture of my new growth. I'm always playing with the waves.

I have been cowashing weekly with tresseme extra moisture conditioner. Its doing good on my hair. I let it sit on my hair for a couple hours then wash it out and wash my scalp with it while in the shower twice. Detangling process was good. So I'm going to keep this routine going.

Finally Relaxed!!!

Relaxer day finally arrived. I relaxed on 3/8/11. I had a setback and did not keep any of the growth I had. I also lost some thickness. For some reason I'm not even mad about it cause it was all my fault. I neglected my hair and knew the consequences of doing so and ignored it. I consider this a lesson learned.

I have been away

Relaxed my hair after 9 months post (Quick Update)

Yep I relaxed. I didnt take any length pics yet but I will. I relaxed on the 2nd of June. Here is two pics of how I wore my hair to my baby sis graduation. The humidity got the best of my hair. I used flexirods (grey ones) all over and a magnetic roller on my bang. I will do this style again soon and will take pics before going outside. lol. Oh and whoever said flexirods = no sleep was not lying. They are worse than sleeping with bantu knots all over your head. But the results were great so I will go through it again :) Well I just wanted to update yall on whats been going on. Oh yeah I had my daughter on the 25th of May exactly 3 weeks ago. Im back now so look forward to more YouTube vids and blog posts. Until next time.....Happy Hair Growing!

6 Months Post Relaxer!

This 6 months went by so fast! I didnt even realize it until I checked my counter. I think I might go a year again. Since Im pregnant Im not going to relax right now. By the time she arrives it will be hot as all hell and sweating out a relaxer is not the bidness...lol. So I think Im going to relax in Sept for my B-day as usual. My newgrowth is getting out of hand so Im going to end up braiding it up next month and leave it braided until the end of June.

I just wanted to update yall on whats going on. Im trying to get over this cold and somethings thats been going on with my family. But Im back and will hopefully have another YouTube video up on the deep conditioner process soon.

Glycerin Mix Update!

OK. I used it on my hair and my daughters hair today and our hair is still moisturized even after I wore my stocking cap and wig. I am so loving this mix! My daughter's hair is so soft! Her hair always soaks up whatever I put in it. I only added about three tablespoons of the WN lotion in it. I keep her hair in braids and ponytails. I could not believe how soft and moisturized her hair was tonight before wrapping her hair up for bed. I have found a new moisturizer and guess what! I made it!!! Tell me about a mixture you made that works wonders for you....Until next time....

Changing Up My Regimen

I'm going to start back using MTG for the last 3 months of my stretch. Well actually I will only use it for 2 months cause I don't want to use it to close to my relaxer date which is the second week in Sept. I want to see how much more growth I can get these last couple of months. I will be applying MTG several times per week, at least 3 days per week at night. This stretch is getting harder and harder but I'm on the home stretch and will not give up now. I just wanted to update on what I'm planning on doing through the rest of this stretch. Today is WASH DAY!!!

During these summer months wash days are the best! I'm going to wash my hair then do my regular routine after wards including my new addition GVP Silk Remedy! I will post back in my review section on how I like it.
