Glycerin Mix Update!

The Summer Heat and Its Downfalls!!!
Well I just made a mixture Im going to use on my hair until relaxer day. It consists of Glycerin, water, and Wave Nouveau Finishing lotion. I was going to add some peppermint oil, and Rosemary oil to it but the smell of peppermint was to over powering with only 5 drops so I decided not to add it this time. I just used it on my braids and my daughters hair and I can say dry no more! I did add a lil bit to much to my hair cause it started running down my forehead...lol. Now I know just a few squirts is all I need. It feels ok but Im going to see how long it will stay moist before applying it again. If your interested in the measurement of each product let me know. Until next time....

My Flat Iron
The Flat Iron I was using is the only one I have which is the Andis Multi Heat Ceramic. This Iron gets my hair so straight and silky but the snagging is a big problem. I go through this snagging every time I use it but never loss this much hair at one time. I got this flat iron from Walmart for under $15 and it does straighten. Now I'm looking into getting a CHI, FHI, Sedu or Maxiglide. Since I wont be flat ironing anymore during this stretch so I have time to get a new one.
***What do you recommend?***
* CHI
* FHI
* SEDU
* Maxiglide
* Other ( Which one )

* Rinsed
* After that I applied the Aphogee 2 min reconstucter and left it on for 10 mins
* Rinsed

* I applied Aphogee Green tea and Aphogee Pro Vitamin Leave -in
* I then applied my new BFF GVP Silk Remedy
* I air dried half way then blow dried the rest.
* Finally I flat ironed and put it in a ponytail tied down and that's how my hair is right at this moment.
All I did for right now is wrap a satin scarf around my edges until I go to sleep so my pony tail is hanging down. When Its time for bed I will put my silk bonnet over my ponytail.
That's it ladies! I'm so glad I decided to try this product. Any questions ladies leave a comment. I love this product and its my staple

Sally's Sale!!!
Im more interested in the GVP cause I would like to try the GVP Silk Remedy, which is suppose to be the generic brand to Chi Silk Infusion. The Chi Silk Infusion is very pricy for such a little bit of the product. I heard so many good reviews about the GVP Silk Remedy that I want to try it. Spending $8.50 for 6oz instead of $15 for 2oz is well worth the try!
When I try it I will post a review on it. So look out for it!
Eyebrow Threading
Eyebrow threading utilizes thread that is twisted around the hairs on the eyebrows. Then, the thread is pulled sharply, and every eyebrow hair attached to it is removed. The result is a very straight eyebrow line. The hairs that are removed are done so by the follicle, so the clean-looking results can last up to a few weeks.
Most beauticians will agree that eyebrow threading is better for a person’s skin that using hot wax to remove unwanted facial hair. The skin near the eyebrow region can be very sensitive, and using wax on it can lead to break-outs, skin irritation, or even burned skin. Also, hot wax can cause the skin to peel or become wrinkled. This is why using a method of removing unwanted eyebrow hair that does not involve the application of any sort of heated substance or chemical is seen as beneficial.
Using tweezers on eyebrow hair is basically the same as threading the hair, but a pair of tweezers is only able to capture one or two hairs at a time. Also, when using a tweezers, there is no guarantee that the hair will be pulled out by its follicle. Tweezing eyebrow hair can be a time-consuming process, and cannot produce an even eyebrow line the way threading can.
Using a razor to remove unwanted eyebrow hair is not recommended. Razors do not remove hairs from their follicles, and they are often difficult to control. An eyebrow shaped with a razor will most likely look strange and full of stubble.
It seems painful but so is waxing. If the results last weeks at a time I need to find a place near me that does them. Do any of you get this technique done? How is your experience?

Jazzing *Ruby Red*
This post was on my other blog but decided to add this one here. Yep I'm considering adding some color to my hair! I want to do it soon to avoid possible damage from the relaxer I'm getting in Sept. I'm thinking of an auburn color or maybe a little lighter since my hair is a dark color and might show up really well. I'm sitting here right now with Silk Elements Mega Cholesterol deep conditioner in my hair and will rinse it out in the morning. After i rinse that out i will put the Jazzing in and sit under my hooded dryer. I will then Shampoo with Kids Organics. I will rinse in the sink since i don't want to have dye stains all over my tub. After that I'm going to put Silk Elements Moisturizing Treatment. I want all the moisture i can get cause I'm going to need it. I'm only adding color to a portion of my hair in the front. I'm ready for a change cause I'm so bored with my hair! I will post pics when i get a good shot of the color. Until next time Tah-Tah

15 Cornrows!!!
Its more than a trim!!!
OMG!!!
Anyway the whole point of this blog is that i used half a jar of the Mega Cholesterol just now trying to DC. My hair is so thick that I think if i DC like this again(with my hair out) I will finish this jar! I always used the DC with my hair in braids so I never used that much. But i like the feel of my hair when its out after using my products. When I'm in braids i not as fun!...lol. Am i the only one that uses so much product at one time!?! I'm glad the Mega Cholesterol is about $4.50 at Sally's and not $10.99 cause then i would not know what to do. My next DC will be in braids. I might not do it like this again for about 2 months from now. I will try to take pics of my new growth after i air dry.
For the ladies with really really thick hair do you use more of a product or even finish a product after only a couple of uses? What do you do to stretch your products? I think i will have to just DC in braids most of the time to stretch mine. Any other suggestions?
Chapter 3
I have started using the Silk Elements Mega Cholesterol and i must say it is the bidnezz!!! My new growth after 6 months post was so soft i could not believe it! I'm going to use that from now on cause nothing got my new growth and hair that soft in a long time. I DC with it over night and Shampoo with Creme of Nature and it detangles my hair so well. I'm going to DC with the Olive Oil Replenishing Pak(ORS)tonight and see what results i get and I'm going to use the Silk Elements Moisturizing Treatment for about 5-10 mins and rinse out. Since my hair is in braids i don't know how soft it will get my hair if at all. But I'm going to use it anyway. I like to feel the results of products i use. I guess with the braids it helps me keep my hands out my hair. I miss my hair so much!
I have been using so much moisture this past 2 weeks i need to use ORS for a lil protein. All in all my hair seems to be doing OK. I have alot of new growth and i was surprised that it was so soft. Then when i twisted it to air dry my hair was so fluffy and the smell was great! I kept sniffing my hair!...lol. I just wanted to update how things are going. I'll chat with yall in my next post!
Im just adding previous blog posts
Product Update
I braided my hair in some cornrows about 20. Added MTG moisturized with S-curl and sealed with Castor oil. I will do this process until my braids grow out.
